Are you an artist looking to showcase your creativity and win cash prizes?
MEF Comics has just announced an exciting opportunity for illustrators and comic lovers across Nigeria the “Draw This In Your Style (DTIYS)” Challenge, open to participants aged 13 and above.
This contest invites artists to recreate characters from MEF Comics’ popular strip Third Servings Eli, Zac, and Amara in their own unique style.
Participants can switch up the poses, outfits, or backgrounds, as long as the characters remain recognizable.
To participate, artists must:
⭐ Live in Nigeria (or tag #other if entering from outside Nigeria)
⭐ Be at least 13 years old
⭐ Post their artwork on social media and tag @mefcomics
⭐ Use the hashtag #mefcomicsdtiys
⭐ Follow and engage with MEF Comics by liking and commenting on posts
All entries must be submitted by November 25th, 2025. Every participant’s artwork will be featured on MEF Comics’ story highlights ensuring visibility and community appreciation, even for non-winners.
Exciting Prizes Await
- Ages 13–18: Five winners will each receive ₦20,000
- Ages 18 and above: Three winners will each take home ₦50,000
This challenge not only rewards creativity but also celebrates the growing community of Nigerian illustrators and comic enthusiasts.
